ATLANTA
(July 12, 2004) – Network of Indian Professionals
(NetIP) Atlanta awarded Duluth resident Deep Shah the organization’s
first annual academic scholarship. The NetIP Atlanta scholarship
will be annually awarded to an Indian-American student
with outstanding academic achievements and a commitment
to leadership in the community.
“Shah’s variety of academic achievements combined
with numerous community-driven initiatives stood him apart
from his fellow candidates,” said Devan Udeshi, Treasurer,
NetIP Atlanta. “We wish him the very best with college
as a Foundation Fellow at the University of Georgia .”

From investing in the community’s
youth to supporting the arts, NetIP Atlanta is taking a
variety of strides to strengthen and grow the community.
Just half-way into the year and the 2004 membership cycle,
NetIP Atlanta has nearly 400 members to date – the
membership number where the organization ended its 2003
year.
Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP) Atlanta is a
